This hand built, one of a kind sculpture is a self portrait I made while looking in the mirror.  It is painted with realistic coloring in underglazes.  

13.5x8.5x7 inches

It’s a traditional bust form with a contemporary look, elevated on a socle, with a red hoodie under a dark gray coat. Sculpted during a cold spell during the Seattle winter, it is a timeless exercise of an artist seeking to “know thyself” through one’s art.
